As of 26 October 2026, my single-authored papers will be deposited on HAL under embargo (why?); co-authored work will follow where possible. Request copies from me or via HAL. × Preprints and open problems are increasingly treated as raw material for AI rather than as mathematics to be read and understood. A growing number of papers are produced with AI, often without adequate verification or genuine understanding. Premature claims of solutions discourage others from pursuing the same problems, while the sheer volume of such work drowns out careful research. I do not want my own papers to feed into this process. I therefore deposit them on HAL under a six-month embargo, giving our community time to read and digest the work before it becomes freely available for automated use. During this period, readers are very welcome to request access on HAL or to write to me for a copy.
